Terra.Nova is a team of landscape architects, urban planners and architects based in Munich. Their range of services includes the transformation of public spaces and open spaces – from city squares and parks to housing developments, schools and sports facilities.
The brief was to replace the long-standing static website with a technically up-to-date and visually striking site. The new website distinguishes Terra.Nova significantly from the competition, appeals to young candidates and ranks number 1 on Google.
We initially simplified the information architecture in favour of usability. With the help of category filters on the project page, users can orientate themselves quickly and in a goal-oriented way. We developed a multi-column grid for the content that creates tension in the design through different image formats and large initials. This multi-column grid becomes one column in the mobile version. The image grid has been automated so that the same image formats are always repeated on the homepage, with content from different categories – e.g. team, news, projects – being displayed randomly. This results in a dynamic variety of portraits, visualisations and photos.

βWith our new website, we stand out from the competition and receive more job enquiries, applications and followers on social media. We obtained a design that we can fully identify with. Many thanks for the great commitment, the professional approach and the outstanding result.β
